Critics of the Bible used to say Jesus only swooned on the cross and the cool of the tomb woke him up.
This theory bit the dust because:
If He actually somehow survived the cross (already very highly unlikely)
The wound to Jesus' side by the guard was given to make sure he was dead. Blood and water came out..which matches a medical condition pericardial effusion.. where someone has to keep pulling themselves up to breathe on the cross and they eventually can't..blood mixes with fluid in the lungs.
So.. if somehow Jesus survived that (which now seems impossible)
He was wrapped in cloth that would suffocate any life left in Him.
So if somehow he survived that.. being completely impossible..
He would have to get out of a sealed tomb..mostly dead.. get passed the guards and somehow convince the disciples he was risen!
So that swoon theory bit the dust.
But it is assuming Jesus did appear to the disciples and was crucified..so unwittingly proves the resurrection
