Knowing God through wealth.....

What do you consider wealth to be?

I must admit. I hate the business world that now exists among humanity. Evil that exists in the business world has long been hidden to the point of masquerading as "God's blessings".

I've been successful in the business world. I know what it is to be extremely poor and I know what is to be able to buy most anything I want. I've been a successful part of the "corporate world" for many years now. In that time, I have realized just how evil the business world is everywhere. No matter your race, ethnicity or social privilege in this life, you're not immune to the affects of evil in this world that turns human beings into money. Currency.

You see such evil historically in the scriptural record of Jesus Christ and how the location of Christ was sold for 30 pieces of silver. The "price" of an accidental death of slave/servant.

In other words, the "value" of a human life to those that don't value life other than their own.

This world will sell you on the value you have to those you serve. They will use your own God given desires to excel in life against you. They will try to make you believe that your value is best represented in their own evaluation of your performance for them. To me, it amazes me the parallels that exist in the business world to things found in the Scriptures.

Notice....

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;

The evil that exists within the context of "business" today is toxic. It so completely permeates society that most people will use the evil phrase "it is just business" without a single thought as to what they are actually saying.

Almost every day of your lives, regardless of the monetary or social systems you prefer, you're being manipulated to serve those that don't have hardly a single care about your life outside of what you can do for them. Most all men seek to be served. Not to serve.

Luke 12:21 "So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

I ask you consider. What is wealth to you? What do you value?

Then consider what the richest "person" anywhere considers wealth.......Whenever you think about "wealth"...... Just realize that God is rich in mercy........

Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

This is how you can know God through what you treasure!

Look at the good news... in heaven there will be no commerce. Jesus paid the price for our ticket to The Wedding Banquet.
