Jesus Pointed to Satan as the coming Antichrist for the End

The proper reading of 1 John 2:18 by Apostle John about the coming Antichrist...

1 John 2:18
18 Little children, it is the last time:
and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
KJV

Apostle John gave 2 examples using that idea of "antichrist", not just one.

1. the phrase above in 'green' he shows that they had ALREADY HEARD that antichrist shall come. Well just when and by whom did they before hear that from?

From Lord Jesus earlier...

John 12:31
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
KJV

Lord Jesus said the above just prior to His being delivered to be crucified. Because of the lack of Bible study by some preachers, they wrongly think that casting out already happened back when Satan (that "prince of this world) first rebelled and fell to the earth. Some of them even dare to go so far to say that Satan was bound at the crucifixion, when it is clear that Peter warned in 1 Peter 5:8 to beware, because the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour. And Revelation 20 reveals Satan is not bound in his pit prison until the day of the future resurrection when Jesus returns. So there's all kinds of wild things being taught in some Churches today that only follow the doctrines devised by men, instead of their actually heeding what God's Word as written teaches.

Jesus mentions 2 events above happening, "the judgment of this world" when that "prince of this world be cast out". Question, what will involve the 'judgment of this world'? Was the world judged back at the time of Christ's crucifixion? No, it was not. That coming Judgment is still sometime in the future. So what about that casting out time? That is about the following event, which is still... future to us today...

Rev 12:7-17
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not;
neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Men's doctrines try to claim the above war in Heaven happened already. It has not. And there's an easy way to tell because that above phrase I put in red. But it will likely only be understood by those who understand about the 2 different dimensions of existence written of in God's Word, the Heavenly one, and this earthly one.

Because when Satan and his lose that above war with Archangel Michael and his angels, and Satan's place is then no more found in Heaven, that means, literally, Satan is kicked out of the Heavenly dimension. And what did I say how many dimensions of existence are taught in God's Word? Were you paying attention?

Being booted out of the Heavenly dimension means Satan and his angels MUST go where? to a hell inside the earth? No, that's a primitive idea by the ancient pagans about hell being in the earth. God's Word uses that as an expression for the lowness of the bottomless pit. The hell which Jesus revealed in Luke 16 about the "rich man" is closer to how it really is. And that means that the abode of the wicked called "hell" (haides), is in... the Heavenly dimension also, but in a place of separation away from God and His (remember the great gulf fixed).

So this Rev.12:7-9 event of Satan and his angels being cast out of the Heavenly dimension has to mean they are cast down to our earth, in OUR earthly dimension, literally.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
"Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Many who try... to dismiss the above casting out by saying it already happen back in history when Satan first rebelled cannot get around that above statement in red above. THIS particular casting out event is hard-linked by that with the Power of Christ's death and resurrection. Did that happen back in Satan's original rebellion? No, of course not. And that shows just how far off those who preach against this event being yet future don't know their Bible.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

That above specific event of saints that are killed like the 'souls under the Altar' on the 5th Seal of Rev.6, is about "great tribulation" timing. Jesus returns on the 6th-7th Seals. Did that happen back at Satan's original rebellion? Again NO! So Jesus is showing us further that this casting out of Satan and his angels down to the earth is for the end, still future to us today even. And it is not simply about Satan and demons working by spirit through flesh men. It's about their literally being cast out of the Heavenly dimension into our earthly dimension, on earth, in plain sight, with the image of man.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

That "short time" is pointing to the future time of "great tribulation". Satan knows he has only a short time to left at the end to deceive as many souls as he can into bowing to him in place of God.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

The woman of course represents God's people that will not... be deceived by this event. That "time, and times, and half a time" represents the latter half of Daniel's symbolic "one week", the 1260 days "great tribulation" time of the end just prior to Christ's return to gather His faithful Church.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

Remember Lord Jesus said He shortened that time for the sake of His elect, per Matthew 24. This is one of the Scriptures where He gave us a hint as to what He shortened it to. That "flood" out of the serpent's "mouth" and the earth swallowing up that flood in the next verse, is symbolic of the time of Noah's Ark. The Ark was upon the height of flood waters for a period of 150 days before the waters started receding. Per the old Hebrew calendar reckoning of 30 days per month, the 150 days equals a period of "five months". That is how long Rev.9 reveals that those NOT sealed with God's Seal will be subject to the locust's stinging. That is the shortened "great tribulation" time.

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God,
and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
KJV

To make certain that we understand this time of Satan's casting out with his angels down to the earth is for the END of this world, Jesus made sure John understood that attack by Satan is upon those who "have the testimony of Jesus Christ". That means us Christians, Christ's Church of both believing Israelite and believing Gentile.

2. Another identifier by Christ to those who had already heard... that antichrist shall come...

John 14:30
30
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me.
KJV

Again, Lord Jesus gave that above warning just prior to His being delivered up to be crucified. The idea of "Hereafter..." is about the period of His being delivered up until His appearing to them again after His death and resurrection.

Some brethren just pass that warning of the prince of this world coming off to mean it was about the devil causing Jesus to be crucified. No, Jesus had already warned His disciples about Satan being 'cast out' and the judgment, which both are still future to us even.

And like Apostle John had said in 1 John 2:18, the brethren he was speaking with had already... heard that antichrist shall come. Well, from Lord Jesus Himself to them is where and Who they heard that antichrist shall come.

3.
The phrase in purple per 1 John 2:18 in my previous post, "even now there are many antichrists", is about 'the Antichrist's' workers that have since long ago been here on earth doing the devil's work. The first antichrist phrase in green is SINGULAR in tense. The 2nd phrase in purple is PLURAL.

Lord Jesus and Apostle Paul also pointed specifically to this 'singular' vs. 'plural' difference about the antichrist idea.

In Matthew 24:5, Jesus warned of "many shall come in My name, saying, "I am Christ". That is about all the many fakes that only claim... to be Christ, but lack the power of great signs, wonders, and miracles to deceive in order to prove it. That is the equivalent to Apostle John's "many antichrists".

But in Matthew 24:23-26, Jesus warned of a specific pseudo-Christ with the power of great signs and wonders that IF it were possible, would deceive even His very elect. The KJV translators brought the Greek word pseudochristos into English as "false Christs", like Jesus meant it about many, but the 23 & 26 verses are specific to a SINGULAR false Christ. Jesus even showed then when someone comes up to you and says something like, "Lo, Christ is here, or there", Jesus said to believe it not. That's not about the many of Matt.24:5 He pointed to earlier. That is about the SINGULAR Antichrist that John pointed to first that the brethren had already heard shall come.

In 2 Thessalonians 2, Apostle Paul warns first about a singular coming Antichrist, the "man of sin" or "son of perdition", or "that Wicked" one. That is about a SINGULAR Antichrist that's to work those signs and wonders. But at 2 Thess.2:7, Paul mentions that the "mystery of iniquity" is already... at work. That is the "many antichrists" idea of 1 John 2:18. It is about Satan's workers here on earth since the beginning of this world, the "tares" of Christ's parable of the tares of the field in Matthew 13.

The Revelation 13:11-14 Scripture serves as another example of the coming singular Antichrist that is to deceive the whole world with the working of those "great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men." Verse 14 says he will deceive those on earth by the power of those miracles he has power to do in sight of the beast (kingdom). (Do you understand why I underlined those "in the sight of men" and "in sight of the beast" phrases? It's because those phrases are pointing to a supernatural working by that coming false one that no flesh born man can do.)

Now if you back up in Rev.13 to the Rev.13:4-8 verses, which have a parallel in Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 with the "little horn", you will discover that it says the whole... world will worship the "dragon"!

Rev 13:4-9
4
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, 'Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?'

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
KJV

Who were we told is that "dragon" back at Revelation 12:9 in the previous chapter? It is another title for Satan himself.

That one above that does those blasphemies, and will be given power to work 42 months (i.e., the 1260 days of the end trib), and will be given power over Christ's saints and overcome them, and also will be given power over all nations and tongues, is about that "dragon", Satan himself.

This is why Lord Jesus gave us the following hint also through Apostle John that it will be Satan coming to earth to do all these things...

Rev 13:11-13
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and
he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
KJV

Lord Jesus gave us more proof though, that the coming Antichrist will be Satan himself, here on earth, working those miracles to deceive the whole world. Lord Jesus gave more pointers in His Book of Revelation with titles like 'the angel of the bottomless pit', and 'the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition' (i.e., in the future "lake of fire").

And as I showed in another thread, if you don't understand about the two separate dimensions of existence written of in God's Word, and about the 3 world earth ages, and Satan's original rebellion in coveting God's Throne for himself, then you likely will not understand that Satan is coming to our world at the end, literally, to try and get us to worship him in place of God, which is once again His coveting of God's Throne with his playing The Christ.

What's an EASY way to know when Satan shows up claiming to be Christ, working those great signs and wonders? On the TRUE day of the future return of the TRUE Jesus Christ, we all on earth will be 'changed' to our "spiritual body" on that "last trump" when Jesus returns. If you are still in your FLESH when that first supernatural Messiah comes claiming to be Christ, with your deceived Church leaders also saying that is Lord Jesus, then you will 'know' that one is a FAKE. Then no matter what, do not bow in worship to that fake Christ, not for your loved ones sake nor your friend's sake.
