I don't see the word "Israel" in Gen 12:3 if that's what you're implying. Muslims have a great regard for Abraham even though it's through their corrupted Quran. I'm no Muslim sympathizer by any stretch of the imagination but facts are facts.

Wonderful verses. The question to ask is what blessings is verse 3 talking about? Is it the spiritual blessing of Christ or is it the military blessings of enemy destruction and annihilation?

Israel needs to be spiritually blessed by God first by confessing Christ before they can be a blessing to others. I've got a better phrase "You need to be blessed by God first before you can be a blessing to others".

You conveniently left out the years before 1967. Israel and the Communist Soviets were allies during those years. That would never ever happen with Britain. Britain never sacrificed its dignity and befriended Soviet Communists like Israel did.

Unfortunately, the world is back to this scenario again. This time Iran and even Russia have been exposed as being militarily weak so Israel is taking advantage of this situation. Israel's superiority backed by the US will keep everyone in check.

I'm not taking any side here. What I'm against is the belief that God is on one side or the other.
