Immigration changes

I'm thinking we're all acquainted with the massive undertaking of President Trump in rounding up, and deporting illegal aliens from the United States of America.
Last night my wife stumbled upon a video on YouTube describing the top 10 European countries engaged in doing something similar.

I have to say....
I was pleasantly surprised. While I may not necessarily agree with some of the practices used, I found myself cheering for the deportations.
It's time to stop unmitigated migrations which don't actually benefit the countries of destination.

I don't care what Trump does. He is just a showman.

Anyhow, the damage has been done with the number of emigrants who remain but are unassimilated. The intent has been to dilute the "white" Christian culture. This is not to denigrate reasonable immigration or all individuals involved. Many of these people have been enticed to these countries and even offered free room and board. They are often unwitting pawns.

The interesting thing is that the origin of the United States involved no controlled borders. You could not even be aware of who came into the territory recently compared to those who had been here a long time. Perhaps you could ask for evidence in a family bible though. It was not really an issue in those days.

@SteveB @mikesw @civic

The invasion sponsored by the Demorats was to:
#1 - Win the 2024 Pres election thru 10 million+ illegal votes
#2 - To remove and demonize the so-called "white priviledge"
#3 - Instigate hatred toward 'whites' and racial unrest by blaming 'whites' for all the wars
#4 - Invalidate the Bible as authoritative over mankind by claiming it is the 'white man's' book
#5 - Break up the USA Israel relationship and middle east stability by funding Iran = Clintons/Obama/Biden

And many more evil things they were doing and planning

The Law is the Law, and every American is to obey the Law. Criminal illegals are breaking the law. If you try to help them stay here you are breaking the law.

Romans 13:1-7 states, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

Boy have i got a diatribe for this, based entirely on Romans 13:1-7.

I'll post it in a little while.
It ties back to the Law, where it's explicitly stated that foreigners are indeed welcome, but they must adhere to Israeli laws.
One law for both native born and foreigner alike.

Exodus 12:49, Leviticus 24:22, Numbers 15:15-16.

More to come.....

Actually, we had very controlled borders.
Just not like today.
People came and went differently back then.

Possibly. I just could not imagine how people would be restricted from coming across the Northern or Southern borders. Plus, people were in the land that the US was absorbing.

Follow up....

Exo 12:49 WEB One law shall be to him who is born at home, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you.”

This passage is dealing with the Passover.

Lev 24:22 WEB You shall have one kind of law for the foreigner as well as the native-born; for I am Yahweh your God.’”

Code of conduct laws.

Num 15:15-16 WEB For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner, a statute forever throughout your generations. As you are, so the foreigner shall be before Yahweh. One law and one ordinance shall be for you and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.’”

This appears to be religious laws.

While we are a free people and allow freedom to practice our religious beliefs according to our conscience, the idea is noted that for a cohesive society, everyone is subject to the same laws.

Regarding immigration, we actually have a set of laws established by congress and signed by the president of that time period.
I.e., they are legitimately established law. Regardless of how inconvenient people may feel about it.

Immigration

I find it inconvenient to drive the speed limits most of the time. I see my fellow citizens who also have a problem with the speed limits.

That does not however let me escape the consequences of breaking the law if law enforcement decides to enforce the law.
