I have a loaded question. Does it matter what we believe exactly?

And if we choose wrong based on our finite understanding of things.... we are lost?

Alright. I'll take that under advisement.

Choosing to believe God or His Son is never wrong, according to Scriptures.

Eve wasn't lost until she took directions from someone other than God. Anyone who reads the account can see this, but it's a choice we make whether to believe it or not. And yes, if you choose to reject God's Word, and choose to listen to another voice, you are lost. That's the whole point.

One must believe He is I AM ( YHWH ) or they will die in their sins as per Jesus teaching in John 8:24.

hope this helps !!!

I wouldn't listen to him.... but it is always our choice.

I posted where God said HE placed before men a choice, life or death, and HE instructs men to choose Life. He also said why He instructs men to choose life in another place.

Ez. 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Those Christians in Matt. 7: 22 chose not to believe Him either. But like you said, it's always your choice.

I believe Jesus is who HE said HE was.

John 10: 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; "because I said", I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works "of my Father", believe me not.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: "that ye may know, and believe", that the Father "is in me", and "I in him".

Matt. 16: 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, "the Son of the living God". 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, "but my Father" which is in heaven.

John 5: 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: "for he wrote of me". 47 But if ye "believe not" his writings, "how shall ye" believe my words?

Duet. 18: 17 And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 "I will raise them up" a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words "in his mouth"; and he shall speak unto them "all that I shall command him". 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken "unto my words" which he shall speak "in my name", I will require it of him.

John 17: 3 And this is life eternal, "that they might know thee" the only true God, "and" Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have "glorified thee" on the earth: I have finished the work "which thou gavest me to do".

8 For I have given unto them the words "which thou gavest me"; and "they" (Those who Live by" every Word of His God and Father) have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and "they have believed" that thou didst send me.

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye "believe not" that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Yes Mr. Mainstream Preacher. If a man doesn't believe that the Jesus "of the Bible" is the "Prophesied "Christ, "the Son of the living God", and listens and obeys another, this man will die in his sins.

As all my posts reflect, although I am not yet perfect, I believe with all my heart that the Jesus "of the bible" is the Prophesied One that the God and Father of All Sent, that I might know His Father "though Him". And that this same Jesus is the Head of God's Church, and my Lord and Savior.

Nevertheless, you still avoided my post and the truth thereof.
