I haven't watched the video but I'd like to interject a possible solution for the necessity of a truly complete flood that involves the entire globe being consumed with water covering "Everest".
The "necessity" arises from the desire to only see 8 souls being saved from the flood. Eight souls is meaningful but there could be a working scenario wherein "Eight Righteous souls" is more accurate/meaningful.
It could be possible that some semblance of humanity survived "the flood" in various cultures. Yet, the "righteous/faithful" souls where the only "salt" left in the earth. The narrative of faithfulness that resulted in Abraham. Either way, you still have Gentiles defined regardless of Noah.
Just something to consider. Please correct me if you believe I have a working model.

In New Mexico White Sands National Park, they have discovered human and mammoth footprints in very shallow correlation with one another dating back to no later than 20,000 years ago.
20,000 can easily be wrong relative to poor dating methods but it does destroy the "millions of years" historically accepted as fact.
