debating strategy 101. In college they teach you to learn both sides because when it comes to the time you debate your opponent they choose for you which side you will be defending.
as a former calvinist I completely understand their arguments since I defended them for over 4 decades. So for me now its easy to understand their mindset and how to argue against that belief system.

@civic helped me to leave Calvinism in the dust. Forums that can't defend their beliefs proficiently and only allow their side to post are the majority. I've seen it over and over. We here at BAM are not afraid to stand up for our beliefs and defend them with The word of God.

Religion does NOT a believer make !
OSAS is a lie, RAPTURE teaching another lie, Saturday worship another, ect., ect.,and all these man-made doctrines can cause others to stumble, maybe even fall away if they are not rooted in the Word of God, for themselves !
Is Calvinism, or any religion, under debate as heresy any worse than these others ?

and to all posters.I hope you understand my/our position even though you might disagree( and thats ok too ). We are all wired differently and all have our opinions. But I just wanted to take this opportunlty to clarify why I'm here and the forums position that you mentioned.

see, by you trying to pull up old post of 101G shows that you're desperate, because you KNOW that you're in ERROR. now if you were truthful, you would prove the verses Genesis 19:9-10 "And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door." Genesis 19:10 "But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door."
you should prove by these verses that the men of Sodom around Lot house were homosexual. but you cannot. we see it in your efforts in trying to find something 101G said to disprove 101G..... but you cannot. and you ... KNOW, that the words " deal worse with thee, than with them " destroy your false assumption..... (smile)...lol. as said, these verses will stick in your mind as a testimony to you A. ERROR, and B. Stiff neck, and Hard heart to change..... it's call repent.

First of all, I don't believe you can be a Christian and be a homosexual (that's the biblical word for gay which I choose to use).
It's like saying I can be a Christian and do premediated murder. In both of these situations it violates God's law, divine order
and purpose of creation. The world has always tried to sugar coat sin. The word 'gay' and their emblem the 'rainbow' is an example of this. Why would you take a God given covenant with Noah the represents the 'rainbow' and use it to represent a heinous sin like homosexuality?
