Copy excluding quote

I've been very frustrated by this.

There are many times when I quote a post, I want to particularly address a key phrase, e.g., "best of times."

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It was the age of enlightenment. It was an age of darkness.

It can't be the
best of times

I wish I could copy part of a quote without it pasting with the quotes included. So the above flows like this.

It can't be the best of times and the worst of times at the same time. This must be figurative use of language ....

I just delete the text around it.

You can also paste it in, and then press the "Quotes" button, but this loses the post reference.

Yea, that is the only thing to do IF using a phone. In using a computer I can paste-match style. It's just not a beneficial function.

I always quote the post, usually in part. I like to do this so anyone - including myself later when I forget - can read the part I am responding to in context.
