Man was created on day six of creation week. Men are appointed 6 days to labor and then they are commanded to rest on the seventh day. A Hebrew slave had to serve 6 years before he could be released in the 7th year. Six years were appointed for the land to be sown and harvested and rested a year.

Bible chronology has the creation of Adan to the birth of Christ at 3,974 years. Add the years until His death and it's just over 4,000.

I'm a literalist and a YEC. We are approaching 6,000 years since the creation of Adam. This will occur in 2026 according to our calendar.

Here is an interesting thought. Man will be here for 6,000 years. Then there will be a 1,000 year millennium. Peace and rest for mankind and satan bound for a 1,000 years. Could we be closer than we think ?

Just some food for thought.

The chronology in general provides dates that seem to have a better fit in historical timelines and, for example, with the Egyptian dynasties. Barry also has provided his scientific proposal about the change of the speed of light over time. His data on that is included in the chronology link.

For the foreseeable future, the speed of light in science will not change. The reason now is that the standard for the defining a second of time is based on the speed of light. The only way around that cancellation effect would be to keep a time standard separate from NIST and not re-calibrate to their standards.

Certainly it could be the tree people. Yeah no. I don't know what he means about man created on the 3rd day.

I do wonder if man was meant to just work 1 day a week. What I mean is that man was created on the 6th day then the next day was a day of rest. Doesn't that seem pretty nice? (k. i'm kidding.)

well let's see. Genesis 2:4 "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens," Genesis 2:5 "And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground." Genesis 2:6 "But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground." Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

God made man "BEFORE" the Plants, "BEFORE" the herb, and they was made on DAY 3 and MAN was made "BEFORE" these. .... Just read.

the summary must line up with the EVENTS, else it's no summary. other words a fraud.

and as a pile on of fact. more scriptures states that the man was made before day six. example, Genesis 2:18 "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." Genesis 2:19 "And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof."

man was ALONE, no animals was yet created.... note ... no help meet, and not help MATE, know the difference. and by being alone, the LORD God made the animals, and brought them to Adam. Note, what 101G has underline above, and every fowl of the air. Question, "WHAT DAT DAY WAS THE FOWL OF THE AIR WAS MADE?" answer, Genesis 1:20 "And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven." Genesis 1:21 "And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:22 "And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth." Genesis 1:23 "And the evening and the morning were the fifth day."

Adam by scripture in chapter 1 was here even before the FOWL of the air...... hello.... see when one read, one must understand what they are reading instead of what they were told.

and yes, the Woman was made on day three also, but was not MANIFESTED until day six. (for the woman was in the man). just like the Son was not MANIFESTED until Later. (but was in God who is Spirit) and MANIFESTED Later in TIME. PLACE, ORDER, and RANK. just as the woman was to come, so the Son was to Come. my God this is just too easy not to understand.

not saying that you're right or wrong but consider this. If man was made before day 3 that will put the 6,000 years of man on the earth in ERROR. also, how long was Adam and Eve was in the Garden before they sinned? HOW LONG? no man knows. 101G only Go with what God says, and if he don't say.... 101G will never guess.

101G personally do not believe in evolution of Man from animals. clearly the bible says no, and 101G by scripture verses has pointed that out. nor do 101G believe in any gap theory at Genesis 1 & 2 either.

now, 101G do believe this. "MAN HAVE BEEN ON THIS EARTH MORE THAN 6,000 YEARS.". and that Adam and Eve had children in... the Garden of Eden before.... BEFORE ..... they had Cain and Able..... OUTSIDE the Garden. and 101G based all of this on the scriptures in Genesis chapters 1-6.
