There is not an adult person on the face of this earth that hasn't experienced jealousy. Jealousy is a fact of nature. In fact, it is a Characteristic of God that comes out of His own Innate Love.
What I'm about to write is not for the "faint of faith". I write this solely so you might know God a little better and understand why God acts the way He acts even to those He loves....
Exo 34:14 For you shall not worship strange gods, for the Lord God, a jealous name, is a jealous God;
You will learn through study and life (living) itself that God will not share you with another!
Many people want to see evil in jealousy. This is because our human spirit strives to be FREE. Sometimes that FREEDOM in spirit seems to lead you away from the constraints that are demanded of love.
Paul was jealous. His words are full of love.
2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
We are not our own. We all have life in God. Every human being alive today has life alone in God.
Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
In love, God is not far from everyone one of us......
Act 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
I know this unimaginable for many that claim to know God..... but God's love toward every human being is ultimately dependent upon relationship. Everything about our lives is designed to drive us toward God. The Scriptures. Preaching. The love of family and LIFE itself. Nature is designed to teach and drive us toward God. All of creation including the frailty of life in trees... flowers... animals... the "valley" and so much more is designed to continually drive us toward God throughout our entire lives. Even the twilight of our years when we get to the point we have to total rely upon OTHERS.... is designed to show us our need for God. Water. Bread. Food itself is designed to lead us to God in Jesus Christ.
I warn myself and all others that there is a judgement that we us must face as human beings blessed with the work of God in living itself....
We will give an account to God. Every human being of all times and ages will face God.
It will be much better for all of us the more we embrace Jesus Christ. Only He alone can save. Some of us already know this. Yet. we still have the "trial of faith" to complete that demands we keep embracing Christ. He is the love of our lives. The love that never ends for us.
For those who don't know Christ, even if you think you know God, there is a warning in your very life that you know is there. That emptiness that exists from living a life without knowing the love of God in Christ. No other religion. No other fake god can give you this. Happiness, joy and peace without Christ is only for a few moments.
God is jealous over His creation. You can understand why. You're jealous yourself over what you think you have without Him.....
