How to get out of : Galatians 5:17

Behold

Well-known member
Reader,

There is a type of carnal believer who would teach that the only difference between an unbeliever's behavior, and a Christian's walk, is that the Christian feels guilty and condemned about still doing what they were doing as an unbeliever, and the unbeliever, enjoys it.

So, we reject the : "well, we are all going to fall into sin, and so, expect it", = carnal minded, Cross rejecting, Devil's theology.

The fact is, God didnt save anyone to confess and sin and repeat.
So, that "theology" that infects forums and churches, is "of the Devil". it is "Anti-Cross".
And that teaching...,, that "you're going to sin, so expect it", is worldwide heresy regarding the Body of Christ.

So, the reason a person is stuck in Romans 7 and Galatians 5:17.... the "that which i hate i will do" issue... is mainly based on not understanding that the born again are become "dead to sin"., and "made free from it"., having become "the righteousness of God, in Christ".

How?
= By Christ's finished work being imputed to you, and .....that includes the Sacrifice of Christ on The Cross.

See, for us to be delivered from the desire to engage in Carnal behavior. (works of the flesh)...., we have to be relieved of sin consciousness, and we have to be freed from the Dominion of the Law.

Its Happened !

The born again, are "not under the law", and by being In Christ, we have become "under Grace". "One with God".

Sin, is not found "in Christ".. As there is no sin in Christ and all the born again are "in Christ".

So, what is the issue?
Its very simple..
The flesh, is empowered to desire carnality , when you try to stop sinning by will power. And that is because when you try to stop your flesh, you are resurrecting it, and Paul told you that "the old man of sin is crucified with Christ" and to "Reckon it dead".
You're not doing that, if you are existing in "that which i hate i do".
You are bringing it back to life, and it wants to have some carnal time.
And then, you try to stop, and that makes it stronger. That makes is worse.

So, the way to stop..... is to stop trying to stop, and instead recognize that your righteousness is complete, and your old man of sin is dead.

See that MIND?
That mind is deliverance.
That Mind is to "walk in the spirit".

Now, let me test you.. so that you can understand how far you have to change your mind into right FAITH, so that the "lust to carnality", is tamed, and then fades....

Here is the test.

So, If this offends you, then that is how far you are away from being "made free" from your self righteousness, that is causing your carnality to continue.
Paul said you are "in the Flesh"... and that is the "mind of the Flesh".

A.) Now....Say to yourself......>"I am the righteousness of God in Christ" "I am THE Righteousness of God......In Christ'...... "I... Am THE..... Righteousness of God, in Christ".

See that?
That is every born again CHRISTian. according to GOD.

And if that makes you upset to even think it, much less believe it, or say it, then that is how far you are from understanding God's Grace, and that is why you are "".... "sin, .. Confess, and Repeat" = for 10- 50 yrs, now.

You have to get your MIND of FAITH in line with God's eternal perspective of you.
He sees ALL the born again as "MADE Righteous"... forever. = "I am the righteousness of God, in Christ"

"As Jesus IS....so are the born again, IN This World"....

You have to not only get this revelation, but you have to maintain it, as its a "spiritual warfare" understanding that your flesh will try to replace with SELF righteousness, and that is the cause of the flesh/lust problem, to begin with.... reader.

Now, are you wanting out of your flesh?

Go to Hebrews 13:9.

Do what it says to do with your heart, and always do it......Always.

It would be a good thing for a lot of Christians to fall into sin because they are depending on their own goodness and effort.

It takes a long miraculous work of God to tear down every shred of self-goodness and self-effort, so that we truly believe anything good done through us is the grace of Christ and not our own merit.

There is no demand for performance and obligation and meeting standards under the Law anymore in Christ—he takes off the demands, and in its place, we grow in grace, no matter how small.

Grace is not demanding we figure out how to fix everything and live perfectly.

Grace is God working in the midst of failures and working all things together to depend on him more, producing true brokenness, humility, and the awareness of no good thing in us, and that without Christ we can do nothing.

The sin of secret spiritual pride can hide very well under the banner of grace, just as much as works.

Reader,

In Galatians Paul says... to the born again who are deceived...

"who has Bewitched you"..."that you no longer obey the Truth".

Now, the Truth, is that the Born again Christian is become "The righteousness of GOD.. in Christ".

The TRUTH, is that the day you believed in Christ, and were saved.... born again, God gave you "the Gift of Righteousness" and you became "the righteousness of God in Christ".. if you are born again, and not just water baptized and religious.

So, to be IN CHRIST, is to become the "righteousness of God in Christ" or you could not be joined to God and Christ as "spiritually Born again".

The Heretics, will come to you, reader, and say...."dont believe the truth... instead .... what you are to do, is believe that you are going to commit works of the flesh. ,,confess, and repeat", as that is what heretics teach as CHRISTianity.

Paul said that once you are deceived by them, you are "fallen from Grace"... "Bewitched", and are "in The Flesh", and once you are in it, you are going to find that situation has you under its power,..... this one....>"that which i hate i do", until you get your Mind of Faith in agreement with God's perspective of you, as having become "the righteousness of God In Christ".

In Romans 7, Paul said that the Law of God is good and that he wanted to do good, but contrasted that with the law of sin, which was working within his members to cause him not to do the good that he wanted to do. So we need to be set free from the dominion of the law of sin in order to be free to obey the Law of God, not the other way around. In Titus 2:14, it does not say that Jesus gave himself to free us from the Law of God, but in order to free us from all lawlessness.

Its Happened !

In 1 John 3:10, those who do not practice righteousness in obedience to the Law of God are not born again. In Romans 8:4-14, those who are born of the Spirit are contrasted with those who have minds set on the flesh who are enemies of God who refuse to submit to the Law of God. In 1 John 2:6 those who are in Christ are obligated to walk in the same way he walked. In Psalms 119:29, he wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching His law. The way to be one with God is not by refusing to follow His law for how to be one with Him.

So, what is the issue?
Its very simple..

If God's law were His instructions for how to become self-righteous and God does not want us to become self-righteous, then it would follow that God therefore does not want to be obeyed, which is absurd, especially considering that all throughout the Bible, God wanted His people to repent and to return to obedience to His law, therefore it is not His instructions for how to become self-righteous, but rather it is His instructions for how to testify about His righteousness. For example, our good works in obedience to God's law testify about God's goodness, which is why they were given to teach us how to bring glory to the Father (Matthew 5:16), not for how to glorify ourselves. Jesus expresses his righteousness through living in obedience to God's law, so that is also the way that we live when we are imputed with His righteousness. It is contradictory to have faith in God while refusing to have faith in what He has instructed.

In Romans 7, Paul said that the Law of God is good and that he wanted to do good, but contrasted that with the law of sin, which was working within his members to cause him not to do the good that he wanted to do.

Yes.

And my THREAD shows you that Paul TAUGHT MORE.

He didnt stop there, in that ONE VERSE... He wrote 12 other Epistles...... and if the Christian does stop there, as you have.... as so many do, then they are faith ruined, and discipleship ruined unless they get OUT of Romans 7 and Galatians 5:17.
They will have no power, no spiritual discernment, and most will believe that if they dont confess sin, they lose their salvation.

See, the "fall from Grace" is to lose any and all understanding of HOW and WHY The Cross of Christ is our Salvation.

People who are not saved, or who are but are deceived, always talk about these on the list below as if they are Their Salvation.....

Water Baptism
Works.
Enduring
Law Keeping
Commandment obeying
Sacraments
Holding unto faith

and many more "SELF EFFORT".

In Psalms 119:29-30, he wanted to put false ways far from him, for God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey His law, and he chose the way of faithfulness by setting it before him, so this has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith, and it is what it means to be under grace, not the way to fall from it.

The book of 1 John was written to Christians. The apostle says, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8–9 It is clear from this passage that even those who have been born again and redeemed by the blood of Jesus will still sin. Having unconfessed sin blocks God from listening to you. It’s dangerous to claim to be without sin.

Until the resurrection we will be at war with sinful desires.

Galatians 5:16-17
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

Sin is not an enemy ‘out there’. It’s an enemy within that lives and feeds off our fallen human desires and weaknesses.

James 1:13-15
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

That is why sinless perfectionism is not only untrue but also dangerous. People don’t tend to win battles that they don’t even realise they are supposed to be fighting.
