Considering the amount of damage done to the world's cities during the Tribulation,
there ought to be plenty of shovel-ready jobs available afterwards for folks who
don't mind getting their hands dirty.
Rev 16:17-18 predicts a global earthquake so powerful on the Richter scale that
cities all over the world will collapse at once.
Just imagine the amount of rubble when all of Manhattan comes down; along with
other major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mexico City, Paris, Moscow,
Beijing, Tokyo, et al.
Plus; forest lands and orchards will need replanting because Rev 8:7 predicts the
destruction of fully 1/3rd. That will require employing quite a few folks in a sort of
government sponsored Civilian Conservation Corps.
All in all, I think everybody will be kept pretty busy for a while just getting the
Earth back up to speed, so to speak-- especially burial assignments because there
will be dead everywhere at first: man and beast.
