Hi, from Mexico

Hello everyone

I'm glad to be here.
I'm a Baha'i, interested in learning from you all, making friends online and, more than everything else, contribute to the strengthening of bonds among Christians and between Christians and non-Christians.
I consider all Christians as brothers and sisters, servants of the One and True God, and I believe in the ultimate salvation of all people under the mercy of God.
I'm a medical doctor, working currently for a company on the identification of adverse events of medications.
I'm a father of two beautiful grown-up girls.

I live in Mexico City. My mother tongue is Spanish, so I beg your patience in advance if my English is not as good as I wished.

Looking forward to engaging in productive, respectful and uplifting interactions.

Welcome to our forum and thanks for sharing with us your background. How did you find out about our forum?
I was searching for a religious forum in the Internet. Then I found this one and started reading the Rules from the Administrators. I liked them very much, as they seem designed to promote peace and respect among members, while being open to different views. I also liked the visual interface and finally, I wanted to practice my English :)

Yes the golden rule is what we try and implement with our members. And your English looks great to me. :)

Welcome on board. I hope you enjoy your interactions with us.

Many many moons ago when I first started searching for a university group/club to be involved in, I came across the Baha'i group. It was a very interesting group in that their aim was to seek the unity of all faiths within their faith. They were an inclusive group, not an exclusive group. That was an interesting approach that caught my eye back then. Fast forward decades later, I still believe in inclusiveness but that inclusiveness must be based on the New Testament. That's where I am right now.

So Pancho, what's your understanding of Jesus?
Hi dwight

My apologies for answering so late.
To me, Jesus came to convey the Word of God, showing us the way to repentance, reconciliation of God, and admission to the Kingdom of God, which is eternal life.
He gave Messianic prophecies a new understanding: Israel prosperity was not dependent of a political-military independence from Rome, but on spiritual freedom from the slavery of sin.
His love and legacy will know no end.
I thank God for the precious gift of Jesus to my life and the life of anyone who follows Him.
