The question is why didn't YOU have problems with doing what you did? And I'm hoping you're using hyperbole in describing what your fellow associates felt about Calvinists. Perhaps you're taking great liberty in claiming another human being especially Christians hate anyone. As a moderator on Baptistboard I often lied about Calvinists. I even made up posts in which I lied and said I was a Calvinist when I never really was.
other moderators Scarlett O. and Salty went along with it because they hate Calvinists also.
Not one christian had problems with me being a lying moderator.
The Calvinists were always using scripture, and i could not answer them, so i edited and deleted their posts instead. The other mods haated them also so they made as if nothing was going on.The question is why didn't YOU have problems with doing what you did? If someone made a claim I had that sentiment towards another I'd tell them in short order to dial that back. Nobody should charge another with that unless perhaps they said that ACTUAL WORD. And to tell you the truth I was a moderator for a number of years over a pretty big web site....not a Christian one. We would have had big issues with a fellow mod being disingenuous and would be asked to step down.
So why didn't you have a problem doing this within yourself? If someone asked you are you a Christian with integrity what would you have said? So you weren't one? What exactly are you saying about yourself? What's your point? The Calvinists were always using scripture, and i could not answer them, so i edited and deleted their posts instead.

I don't like to make excuses for someones behaviors and or sins. Some would say Davids deeds would disqualify him from being a christian. Some would say the one Paul disfellow-shipped in I Corinthians was not a christian who later repented in 2 Corinthians and was restored to fellowship.Even Christian moderators can be very sinful, I know this first hand.
I appreciate your honesty, but you don't even sound like a born again Christian, friend.
I pray and hope you come to know Jesus really did die for your sins and put your faith in him!
He will change in you into a new person and change all those sinful desires you have!
So now that I know how the person feels about me , the admin and this forum they are on a vacation for a while.
Thanks for the heads up, We're trying to avoid that happening here. You know what they say, you learn by your mistakes. We're still learning. Our goal is that our members love God and love each other. One way to do that is to treat each other with respect. We're not asking for everyone to believe the same things, only to respect other people's beliefs and opinions. As a moderator on Baptistboard I often lied about Calvinists. Not one christian had problems with me being a lying moderator. They were afraid because I would edit and silence everyone who did not submit to my ideas. Most solid posters left because of me. The board is now a shallow wreck ,but most of the Cals are gone.
No one thinks it was unethical to do what i have done. Some did think i was a moron, but You cannot please everyone.
I think at times we like to pride ourselves that we know or we think we know the spiritual status of people, saved or not. I think the Bible seeks to steer us away from doing this. Paul in 1 Cor 5:11 talks about if anyone called a brother.....doesn't say we always have to figure it out whether they are or not....just if one is claiming a certain thing and have gone off the rails....don't always be seeking to make the determination as to whether they are or not.I don't like to make excuses for someones behaviors and or sins. Sure. I'd suggest there are many that really don't have the spiritual foundation of Christian character with the fruits of the Spirit which would cause them to show temperance and self control to qualify them to even teach the Bible.I think at times these online forums can bring out the worst in people and not the best.

I have a masters degree in theology. I know enough to fake that I was a calvinist. I make like I am very helpful, while insulting and trying to destroy their character in public view. It is like a game for me at this point. you can see me do this everyday.Even Christian moderators can be very sinful, I know this first hand.

When I was a calvinist i use to play those games all of the time on another forum. my human nature is to give it back twice as bad as you are giving it to me. I gave up calvinism a couple years ago and have since changed my attitude now and since having this forum for the past year I have changed my way of thinking now.I have a masters degree in theology. And we do not know a man’s heart. God knows his heart. I will not cast judgment on another’s salvation. That’s Gods department not mine. There are lots of people in hell with a masters degree in theology.
Only true repentance and faith in Jesus' Blood will save you, friend.

Correct,And we do not know a man’s heart. God knows his heart. I will not cast judgment on another’s salvation. That’s Gods department not mine.
A born again person knows they are born again. He knows if he is born again or not. He knows the gospel. That’s between him and God. For all I know you might not be born again and lost. Just sayinNeither will I let people go to hell without warning them and assuming every single person is already saved:
