Gifts from God....

Since there are so many people claiming to be "uniquely gifted" by God, I thought it might be wonderful to start naming all the gifts man has in common from God...

Might be good to start with....

Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

If it is good. If it is perfect. It came from above.

Or maybe

Notice "ALL THINGS".

Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Act 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Notice the WHY!
Act 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

Shall we list more?

That list is inexhaustible. Here are just a few of the multitudes of things to be grateful for:

Our God-given minds with the capacity to believe the Gospel whenever it's preached or read. (No Total Depravity).
Our God-given freedom to choose our destiny. (No Unconditional Election).
Our God-given gift of Christ's Atonement for whosoever believes. (No Limited Atonement)
Our God-given wills to choose (No Irresistible Grace)
No spiritual caste systems. (No Preservation of Elect only)

Conclusion: Praise God that TULIP is not true but is a doctrine from the pit of hell.
