I really like the older worship music from the 90's and earlier. I find it was more God centered/focused whereas now most seem to be focused on man.

i get blasted for taking this kind of stand all the time... especially as a millenial.. . but i like the much older style of church music that was sung together as a congregation... a true musician in the service of God is willing for his or her music to be heard and themselves not seen... such as one who would write a song for a congregation or choir to sing together.... ..,much of what goes on today in the name of "worship" is nothing but a performance... ..entertainment designed to promote and enrich the musician/performer and make a star or celebrity out of them.... and you are right.. it seems to all be focused on man....
