Romans 5:12

New International Version
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

New Living Translation
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

English Standard Version
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—

Berean Standard Bible
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned.

Berean Literal Bible
Because of this, just as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death passed to all men, because all sinned.

King James Bible
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

New King James Version
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—

New American Standard Bible
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all mankind, because all sinned

Conclusion: Death is the result of sin. We are guilty of sin when we commit sin, not before a person sins. Paul declares the same in 1 Corinthians 15:21-22.

Inherited guilt is an keen example of people loving man-made doctrine more than God's word. "Inherited" and "guilt" are mutually contradictory terms to boot, and God wouldn't have us such nonsense.
