I did this teaching on my YouTube channel, I call Aviation Christian Parallels. To inject a little humor I can promise you this message WILL BE uplifting. How could it not be for we're going to talk about here things like lift, which allows airplanes to fly.
Are we just rolling down the runway in our Christian life—engines running but never really taking off? Using Isaiah 40:31 and Hebrews 12:1–2 I look at how God hasn’t called us to stay grounded—He’s called us to soar. It’s easy to look the part—packed calendars, church involvement, saying all the right things—yet never actually lift off. So here’s the big question: Are we gaining spiritual altitude, or are we just taxiing? The Holy Spirit is calling you higher, above fear, guilt, sin, and fleshly limits. Let go of the weight and trust the lift of faith. You weren’t made for motion alone—you were made to rise.
