My understanding is all his online material was removed from his work as the dead of the masters seminary and OnePAssion ministries which he founded. And he is no longer the pastor at the church. I'm not sure about his sermons/ materials their.Sure. I think saints struggle at just how we should think of those who have fell. Sure it's a sad thing but there are a lot of dynmics that come into play. We live in a world where even the best of Men/Women come under attack. I agree we can't blame the devil for everything for a person allowed the lust of their heart to rise up and move them to action.....there still is though the Kingdom of Darkness watching one's weakness....and tempting setting one up for failure. If one does fail for whatever reason we must instill within them it doesn't mean they're finished for life in accomplishing anything of value for God again.
If they feel like many I suppose do that a spirit of condmenaiton has clamped down upon them we need to stand with them to break and smash that from off of they're life. No matter how great the sin the blood of Jesus is greater and can cleanse that individuals making them again just as if they'd never sinned. Scriptures are full of exhortations that one's sin or sins will be forgiven them and they need to embrace that with all tenacity. As for being restored to public ministry OR being a leader Pastor of a church I'd lean towards thinking it would be counterproductive to do so at least in my opinion.
That doesn't mean however that a person can't be used by God in a thousand and one different ways to advance the Kingdom of God even within a gathering of believers. For the world's sake when they look at a church even they can accept a person might fall....but they might question why should they stay in the place as a primary leader. It doesn't have good optics. I'll offer this as well, letting go for good of pulpit or a primary leader position isn't the end of the world. Supporting others and strengthening others who are in that place can be just as important as being that. I pray that that man and his family will find PEACE.
According to his own words from sermons and interviews he is not saved. I will not say one way or the other. That’s a God issue and an issue of the heart within the man.So what do you think? Did he lose his salvation?
And how would we know if he was “ saved “ in the first place ?So what do you think? Did he lose his salvation?
I hear you, none of us can judge another man's or woman's salvation. And how would we know if he was “ saved “ in the first place ?
DittoI hear you, none of us can judge another man's or woman's salvation.
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.Romans 14:4
We are not that other Christian's master. We are all servants of the same Master: Jesus. It's not the role of servants to pass judgment on each other. The master passes judgment.
Lawson sounds like a Hypocrite in his 12 min. rant.in the last video I posted both Lawson and MacArthur ( best friends with RC ) went on record saying any pastor caught in adultery was not a believer and was condemned. Take a listen at what they said.
and actually condemns himself by his own standards.Lawson sounds like a Hypocrite in his 12 min. rant.
Calvinism is a system of false teachings from the 1500’s. They believe in a distorted view of eternal security and a distorted view of predestination.Spot on video! One has to wonder who is the god at the center of this false theology called Calvinism.
The guy from Faith on Fire in the last video talks about that. He mentioned the Pharisees putting a heavy load on people's shoulders that they couldn't carry. And how they thought they were chosen and needed to carry no load. They were above that. He gave a very good comparison. The part that got me was his office being the birth place for all of his congregation who enter his council. What a sham. It reminds me of the pharisees who lorded it over others.
