I can call it error, false belief, false doctrine, or heresy, but this belief in our present dispensation called the Times of the Gentiles espoused by Gentile Christians is that by being born again by Christ that they have become "seed of Abraham" and by virtue of this biological miracle in their salvation are now in the Abrahamic Covenant.
That belief is called a lie, and no lie is (of) the truth. Surely, your parents have taught you the difference between a lie and the truth. Need I post the etymology of the word "lie" and give definition from Cambridge or Merriam-Webster on this English word? Maybe a Greek rendering of the word is necessary to educate all of you.
From my 47 years of study of the Hebrew Scripture of Genesis to Revelation I find nowhere in these writings of the Hebrew people the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob ever making a salvation covenant with Gentiles. There is none. Nada, zip, zilch. So, where does this heresy come from? It comes from an erroneous reading and understanding of Saul's written word to Jewish Christians in the Galatian letter found in chapter 3:29, which reads:
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal. 3:29.
If one is honest with Scripture, we can see that none of what's called New Testament is written to Gentiles. And I mean none of the New Covenant writings from Matthew to Revelation is ever written to what I call hard-core, uncircumcised, non-covenant, idol-worshiping Roman, Scythian, and Barbarian Gentiles. Just because one sees the word "Gentile" in the text immediately the writer is talking about these groups of people. It should be clear to all who read and study the Bible that unless the context is referring to uncircumcised Roman, Scythian, or Barbarian Gentiles it has circumcised Gentile proselytes and uncircumcised Gentile God-Fearers in mind. These two groups of Gentile (non-Jew) would be involved in Temple and synagogue activities and would hear first of the testimony of Jewish Christians at both localities of a man named Yeshua whom the people have received as Israel's Messiah. Uncircumcised hard-core Roman et.al. Gentiles have nothing to do with Jews. There is a long-standing hatred between these peoples. One has forced their will upon the other people through war and conquest and occupy the other people's land. The other people have been subjugated and conquered and live under Gentile rule. One people is called unclean by God, the other is called "saints of the Most High" (Dan. 7:18.)
The writers of the New Covenant writing from Matthew to Revelation are Jewish Christians and write their gospels and letters to Jews and Jewish Christians of their time and the main subject of their writings is discussion of the effect of the advent of Israel's Messiah upon their covenants. They had to understand what this Holy Spirit of Promise was and what it meant to them as a people. These Jews had to search their Scriptures of Law, Psalms, and their prophets to make sense and understand this 'new thing' God was doing in the earth, a new thing that has direct effect upon the Jewish people. It's their covenants (Abrahamic, Mosaic, New), Yeshua is their Messiah, and the prophets God sent to Israel and their prophecies are theirs alone. They may speak about hard-core Gentiles, Gentile proselytes, and Gentile God-Fearers, but every manuscript by a Jew is written to and for other Jews, whether they are saved or not. But then again, each covenant is a salvation covenant God made with this people called Israel. So, let's look at Galatians chapter 3. Let's finally put to rest the heresy of the Gentile believers that by becoming Christian they have also been miraculously had their DNA changed to become a Hebrew person and are now in the Abrahamic Covenant, a covenant that was made between God, Abram the Hebrew, and to his biological seed, a seed called Isaac, Jacob, and Jacob's twelve children and their descendants identified as the twelve tribes of Israel.
23 But before faith came, we [Jews] were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our [Jews] schoolmaster to bring us [Jews] unto Christ, that we [Jews] might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we [Jews] are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye [Jews] are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you [Jews] as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye [Jews] are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye [Jews] be Christ’s, then are ye [Jews] Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Gentiles have never been under the Law. Gentiles are not the seed of Abraham. The only people that can claim to be heirs of the promise [of Abraham and his seed] are Jews.
When I read of a Gentile Christian claiming to be in the Abrahamic Covenant through misunderstanding of Saul's words to Jewish Christians in Galatians 3 it's clear to me the person that says such a thing does not have an honest relationship with God. Their heresy interferes with their relationship because the Spirit of Truth that is supposed to dwell in them just is not dwelling in them. The Spirit cannot be partaker in their lies. The Spirit will not be part of their imposter of being someone they are not. It's a fallacy for a Gentile Christian, someone who was never in the Abrahamic Covenant - or any Hebrew/Jewish covenant - to claim to be a Hebrew whose Gentile DNA was miraculously changed by God into the DNA seed of Abraham and have now supplanted the true Hebrew/Jew from their covenant and as the true seed of Abraham. Christians are called 'children of truth.' But they cannot be "children of truth" while believing in lies. And what does Scripture call someone who believes in lies?
